With 744 yards on the ground, the international player was the fourth-leading rusher in the CFL this season. His 55 catches from the backfield made him the top receiving running back in the league.
He sat out Thanksgiving’s game against Edmonton as Paris Cotton got the starting spot. Cotton competed for the starting job but was injured in the preseason and was used sparingly throughout the season. Cotton will take over the starting role now permanently for Winnipeg.
