Strictly business: Bombers cut Anderson from practice squad
Trying to stop a six-game losing skid, the Blue Bombers don’t have the luxury of sentimental values and family ties. Chad Anderson and Willie Moseley were released from the Winnipeg Blue Bombers today, as the team announced the roster change over their Twitter.

The move breaks up the brothers Anderson, as Chad is the younger brother of injured defensive lineman Zach Anderson. Both Andersons played together in high school at Sault Ste. Marie, Mich. and college at Northern Michigan University. Chad spent the NFL preseason with the Indianapolis Colts and was on the roster of the Arena Football League’s LA Kiss before heading to Winnipeg.
Moseley was drafted as a linebacker by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers before coming to the CFL as an Argonauts practice squad member. He played his college ball at Buffalo.
The Blue Bombers have made a couple big transactions this week, as they released leading rusher Nic Grigsby. They also added imports Jace Daniels and Will Smith. Daniels is an offensive lineman from Northern Michigan and Smith was a linebacker at Texas Tech.
