Ottawa starts second half with a single
Things have been slowly improving for the Ottawa REDBLACKS in their season finale game against the Toronto Argonauts. After allowing two touchdowns in the first then two field goals in the second, Ottawa needed a strong start to the second half.
So they scored.
Kicker Brett Maher booted the opening kickoff for the touchback and the single, finally busting up the potential shutout. For a team that has the worst scoring offense in the league, I’m sure they’ll take any points they can take.
On the other hand, Toronto is not amused.
