Justin Hickman unloads on Rob Maver in hit of the year

A lot of people complain about the Canadian Football League not playing like the big dogs in the NFL, but that doesn’t mean they can’t unload the big hits, like Justin Hickman of Hamilton did here.

BOOM!

Not only is the hit made against on Rob Maver, but Jeff Hecht went down too.

Maver is the Stampeders punter and was injured not on the initial hit, but Hecht kicking him on the way down. If the Stampeders need a punter, expect kicker Rene Paredes to take over those responsibilities.

Hickman is a defensive end that joins the punt coverage due to his speed. He’s spent all four years in the CFL with the Tigercats after starting at UCLA.
